I know there are a lot of posts for one day but please read ALL of the ones from today, thanks. I also have something here that my Dad wrote for his HopeMinute. Here it is. Please read the whole thing. Thanks.
Politics
A little girl with cancer woke up in the hospital today. Unaware of the election results. Her prayers were answered. She gets another day to live, another day to fight.

A parent anxiously waits for the phone to ring. They are not looking for stock market news. They are waiting to hear if new lungs are available for their child with cystic fibrosis. Time is running out.

Disease is not impacted by election results or financial situations. Some of you are celebrating after last night, others are not. Some of you are doing okay financially, others are hurting. Cancer doesn't care.

The sun came up this morning on children who are battling cancer, cystic fibrosis, sickle cell, and other life-threatening medical conditions. Despite the headlines, not much has changed for them.

If your candidate won last night, congratulations! If your candidate lost last night, I am sorry. Either way, remember... truth is still truth, grace is still grace, God is still God. Our answers, our joy, our peace, our healing, our hope is not found in politics or the stock market - they are found in God alone.
I typo-ed on that last verse. Here is the real one. Haha

"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today." Matthew 6:34
Alright, well, Jordan said he wanted a verse about God help us. I don't have a verse about that, but i do have a great one that's better than, God help us. I was reading this morning and this popped out. Read it. :). It's good.

"So don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow brings its own worries. Today's trough is enough for today."
Matthew 6:34

This was really really good. It's how we shouldn't worry about Obama. Just let God give you peace on it because He also says, anyone who is in authority, I put in authority.
So God has this allllll worked out. No worries, Jordan. God has His hand on our nation. :).

I also have an activity for everyone. Get a piece of paper.
Write this:
OBAMA
______

BIDEN
now change the B in OBAMA to an S. and add NLA in between the I and D in BIDEN.
What does it say??? You tell me. That's no coincidence right there. That should be scary, but it's not, because like I said, God has it in His control. No one elses.

Sorry!!!

Sorry i missed yesterday, guys! I've been so busy lately!!! I've been at school, soccer, and the theatre EVERYDAY from 3:30-9:30! cra-haaaaaa-zy! haha. Well, i have a verse for today also, and yesterday. :). Thanks! Sorry for the delay, guys!!

Nov. 3rd verse:
"I will praise you, O Lord. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation."
Isaiah 12:1-2

Nov. 4th verse:
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? ... I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:35,38-39

Nov 2

"No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks."
Luke 6:43-45

Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty."
John 6:35

Bible verse, Oct. 31st

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12

She's been at college-college for a couple months now, but has been at bible-college and doing internships and work for TeenPact for 2 years, :(, so it's great to see her..yay!! Well, anyway, I am soo excited for tomorrow. It's a busy day, but I can't wait!! I have a soccer game, garage sale, two shows, another show, (which makes 3...haha) and then back home again, jiggy-itty-jigg. lol...but anyway, about TeenPact, I really hope i get to go to the TX state class, also, including the AZ class...all my friends live in TX!! Mark M, Mike M, Megan M, Juz(justin) S, Kati T, and a lot of others. But, everyone who reads this absolutely no excuse HAS to go to the AZ state class this May!! HAVE too! If you go to KEYS, then you just have to tell them, "It's educational..." haha. Really though, it'll be way fun and you get to learn a lot, write a bill, read a book, walk around and explore the capitol, and you get to wear work clothes...fun! Haha. and then, you can go to NC(national convention) and Survival! and Endeavor!!

Okay, so, everyone wants me to make a new post...so..here goes. I know this looks like a really long post, but please read it. Please. :). Today I finished my school in like 3 hours. And I have soccer and rehearsal tonight. loverly!! I love soccer...fun fun! It gets me pumped up and keeps me healthy. And when the ball is on the other side and I am standing there ready for the ball, I can talk to God. It's a great way. I am not saying everyone go play soccer and talk to God, but even when you're not in a quite peaceful place, you can talk to God. But it is also good to have devotional time, like maybe go sit outside in the morning or night when it feels nice and take your bible and journal. You feel like God is right there, and He is, even if you don't see Him, He's there. Always. It's a great thing. That means you can ALWAYS talk to God no matter what. And when I am waiting for my scene to come on at rehearsal, I can talk to God. I know we all have busy lives, very busy, but sometimes, when you have those bored, I dunno know what to do, you can talk to God. He is a great listener and always has a good answer in the end. Even if you don't ask him anything, He gives you advice and encouragement. I love God. :). At summer camp this year, one of the teachers said, "If Jesus DIED for you, then why won't you LIVE for Him??" I like to live by that saying. I hope you do, too. :)
